If you don’t want to insert and expandable frame system then you can permanently fit an aluminium frame to the inside or outside of the Sash window frame. For instance if you have access to the exterior than you can simply screw the frame to the outside. Inside if you have the space you can hinge it to the window frame and open the sash when you need it. The choice is yours.

What are they? These are neat and stylish Aluminium frames with fibreglass mesh making a very effective insect screen for your home or business. These are supplied with metal hinges and a spring closure so that the screen automatically closes once it is let go. These frames also allow you to fit a brush on the edges so that there is a complete seal on either side.
Sizes and Colours? The metal is white and available in the following maximum sizes, (please see below) you can easily cut to fit a smaller window size.
Easy to Fit? Simply cut the four aluminium profiles to the required height and width, then tap in the four corners. The grey mesh is fixed in place with the supplied black spline. Then fit the hinges to the frame and the spring closure.
What Size Frame do I need? Simply measure the height and width of the opening with the window open. Then add 2cm to that measurement to ensure that the frame overlaps the window.
